中市公車搭乘人數增 再闢新路線

台中市還沒有捷運，市府交通局闢建多條新的公車路線，連接各區，七月起又有大里到高鐵站以及新市政中心的151線公車上路，市長胡志強今天主持151線體驗活動表示，台中市搭乘公車人數，原先一個月只有40萬人次，市府推出8公里免費優惠後，原本預估每月400萬人次，沒想到現在已達860萬人次之多，原先編列的預算還不夠用，胡市長笑稱這是「甜蜜的負荷」，市府甘之如飴！

台中地區的公共運輸過去並不方便，現在，公車路線不斷增加，今年4月推出150線台灣大道到機場新幹線公車，可行駛國道、快速道路，縮短時間，7月1號起，再推出151線大里霧峰新幹線及153路谷關新幹線。151線公車上路，從大里到台中高鐵站、新市政中心分別只要30、40分鐘，大幅縮短時間；胡志強市長前往大里兒童藝術館主持新幹線公車體驗活動，對於公車搭乘人數超乎預期，他說是「甜蜜的負荷」。

胡市長表示，過去大里、霧峰區，沒有直達高鐵台中站或新市政中心的公車，大里區在縣市合併初期只有6條市公車路線，目前已增加到19條，除了151新幹線可直達高鐵站及新市政中心外，50、100、107路公車都可至台中火車站，非常便利。

交通局長林良泰表示，根據101年「五都公共運具民眾滿意度調查」，台中市民滿意度高達91.5％，與第一名台北市的91.8％相距不遠，現在又多了新幹線公車，滿意度一定能再次提升。

151路新幹線公車從大里區兒童藝術館出發，延大里區中興路、霧峰區中山路，行經青年高中、明台高中、林家宅邸、亞洲大學，轉進國道3號，行駛到烏日區改駛台74號快速道路，停靠高鐵台中站後，一路到市政商圈。
