Google Glass能救命 成醫生診斷幫手

Google Glass發表後引發許多爭議，但值得欣慰的是，這項高科技產品已協助外科醫生救回一條寶貴生命。

擁有緊急醫療和臨床資訊背景的醫生洪格（Steve Horng）接受CNBC訪問說，1月他在急診室收治一名嚴重腦出血的病人，使用Google Glass掃描病歷後，才發現必須改變治療方式。

去年底，洪格在波士頓貝斯以色列醫療中心展開Google Glass計畫，雖然花了一段時間才習慣使用Google Glass，但這項新技術讓查閱資訊變得更有效率。

洪格說：「當我們展開這項計畫，其中一項要點是尊重病人隱私和保密，必須完全符合其他臨床應用的規定。令人驚訝的是，病人很歡迎這項計畫，還好奇問說『你頭上戴的是什麼？』」
