苗栗縣社區大學校長江明修今天登記參選苗栗縣長，他與支持者演出行動劇，持「新苗栗第一棒」打破黑箱，他說，十幾年來苗栗政治沒有進步，因為民主好像只在投開票那一天，過後就沒有了，因為苗栗的政治被少數人壟斷。

他是公共行政專家，所以的政見都是公民討論，專家評估產生，將來所有縣政重大決策，都要公民參與，政府要讓人民看透透，他參加選舉當第一棒，讓更多年輕人、公民參與政治決策。
