埋線拉皮有4D拉提、羽毛拉皮、Misju拉皮之分。所用的拉提線都屬於可吸收的PDO材質，只是有長短粗細及有無倒鉤之分。4D線較細且無倒鉤；後兩者的線則較粗並有倒鉤。

目前台灣是以4D拉提、羽毛拉皮為埋線拉皮的兩大主軸。

✧ 4D拉提的拉提效果通常需要3-6個月來均勻漸進式的顯現。

✧ 羽毛拉皮的拉提效果則是立即且顯著。

然而
4D拉提與羽毛拉皮的優缺點是正好相對應的，
例如，
✧ 4D拉提的拉提效果要等待3-6個月才能見真章，雖然讓人望眼欲穿，但是膚質的改善確實顯而易見。

✧ 羽毛拉皮雖然V臉立現，但是有4-8周的恢復期，臉皮因向上拉提導致的凹凸不勻又讓人坎坷不安，不知何日會自然。周遭人的異樣眼光與質疑是最難以承受的。淡定正是此時最需要的修練。

★ 4D拉提與羽毛拉皮的療效高峰期約在術後半年時。

★ 4D拉提的效果約1-2年。
而
★ 羽毛拉皮則為2-3年。
