挪威向荷蘭租監獄　送犯人出國坐牢

挪威司法部昨天表示，由於部分監獄要進行翻修，加上等候入獄的囚犯節節高升，為了避免監獄過度擁擠，決定向荷蘭租借部分監獄關犯人，最快在明年實施。
 
挪威每10萬名罪犯中，平均只有72人必須入獄，監禁率只有美國的十分之一。但是部分監獄的囚房數目過少，加上現在有1300名犯人等待入獄，所以挪威政府決定斥資44億克朗（約208億台幣）來加蓋新囚房。在施工期間，會把約300名無期徒刑或刑期較長的囚犯送到荷蘭的監獄囚禁。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
