高雄氣爆事件除了造成警義消人員傷亡，各式消防車、救護車、救災器材、消防衣帽等裝備也損失無數，高雄市消防局救難戰力受到嚴重影響，勤指中心主任林原興表示，感謝各界湧入愛心，如果有民眾、企業團體或財團法人有意願捐贈救災車輛與相關器材裝備，可撥打災害應變中心（07）822-4567由社會局統籌分配，或（07）831-6119轉1050，由高雄市消防局承辦受理，盡量不要直接撥119報案電話佔線。（林建鋒╱高雄報導）
