隸屬於NISSAN旗下、專門負責性能改裝的NISMO，當時成立目的主要是針對賽事提供改裝零件等，直到2011年底開始，NISMO才逐漸轉型為專為旗下品牌改裝的性能子品牌，目的就是要與諸如HONDA MUGEN、TOYOTA TRD等直屬改裝品牌比拚，首款的車型Juke NISMO也在2012年巴黎車展上推出，立刻造成轟動，之後的國際車展也都陸續看到披上NISMO徽飾登場的車型，也讓各界相當好奇下一款車型將會是誰？
