嘉義看守所結合嘉義更生保護會、嘉義就業服務站、朴子就業服務站， 22日在嘉義看守所辦理的『脫胎‧築夢就業博覽會』，協助即將出監的收容人重回職場，活動雖然遇到潭美颱風來襲風雨交加，但辦理單位與廠商都不畏風雨如期辦理就業博覽會徵才活動，讓嘉義看守所參與活動的49名收容人備受感動。
台南職訓中心施主任、雲嘉南區就業服務中心的黃秘書、嘉義就業服務站劉站長及朴子就業服務站吳站長都全程參與，施貞仰主任於致詞時除了鼓勵收容人要勇於爭取工作機會外，對於不畏風雨仍如期與會的廠商更是表示感謝之意，而廠商也表示因為不想讓收容人感到失望，所以無論風雨多大也都要來設攤招募人才，這種真誠用心的付出讓現場的收容人都非常感動，現場瀰漫一片感恩與惜福的氛圍，也讓參加這場活動的收容人個個展現出積極爭取成功的企圖心。
嘉義就業服務站與朴子就業服務站聯合邀請9家廠商到場設攤徵才，總計提供56個多元化的職缺，而參與這次活動的49名收容人，也都在一個月內就即將出監，所以更提高廠商僱用的意願，讓整個活動現場顯得非常踴躍熱絡，而收容人也覺得辦理這樣的活動很好，讓他們可以與職場順利接軌，不用擔心出監後尋職碰壁。
