李新穎應邀參觀兒童城

中華民國駐薩爾瓦多大使李新穎，應薩國第一夫人薇拉塔及薩爾瓦多幼童暨青少年發展機構的邀請，11日偕「好心人基金會」、「幫幫忙基金會」代表，參觀聖安娜市（Santa Ana）的兒童城。

此行由薩國副總統夫人兼薩爾瓦多幼童暨青少年發展機構（ISNA）執行長Elda Gladis Tobar Ortiz親自陪同，介紹ISNA相關設施。

薩國政府為照顧失親、誤入歧途及家長無法撫養的兒童及青少年而設立ISNA，佔地約7公頃，設置有學校、宿舍、體育場、體育館等設施。

另專設電子、電機、裁縫、衣服設計、木工、機械等職訓工廠，基礎設施完善，培訓失怙學子。

李新穎表示，中華民國政府及慈善團體樂於提供ISNA所需的職訓課程電腦設備、衣服、樂器等物資，日後會繼續支持ISNA所需。(中央社)
