張善為半個月前身體出狀況，除了頭暈、想吐還感到癱軟無力，上周六（16）日症狀加劇，除了全身抽搐，到醫院就診時，已臉色發黑、嘴唇發紫，意識也相當模糊，最後因右腿沒知覺送急診。今（18）日下午經由醫生詳細檢查，發現脊椎、腰椎瘀血壓迫到神經，緊急決定在晚間8時動刀，目前正由家人和經紀人陪同。

經紀人Joanne透露，日前張善為多次感到全身無力，以為是單純感冒症狀，導致檢查方向錯誤，「他星期六狀況變嚴重，這兩天又只有急診室醫師，沒有辦法做核磁共振，一直找不到原因，今天精神科醫師來，檢查後才找到（病因），脊椎、胸椎發炎，血塊壓到迫神經，下半身有麻痺感覺。」

張善為在臉書寫下：「希望還能有機會繼續帶歡笑和節目給妳你們，也謝謝這麼多愛我的人給我力量。」正在「奮戰」的他認為自己不孝，更自責讓家人為他擔心，網友留言為他加油打氣，他也不忘叮嚀大家好好照顧身體。Joanne表示，將會視其開刀狀況，統一再對外說明。
